We are knocking out those To-Do items one by one. I Love Lists! I love to write them, read them, vigorously check off those done items… Greg does not. While I am busy writing lists, Greg is actually accomplishing the listed items; Teamwork makes the dream work! In all seriousness, I need a List to help keep me focused and on track, I am easily distracted, aka wanting to move on to fun projects! Greg is laser-like in his focus and determination. We have a fairly firm deadline to finish up the kitchen and a couple other partially finished projects. Having a List helps keep us (me) on track and is a visible reminder of what all we have done, especially those times where you feel you aren’t doing enough or moving fast enough. Next up on the To- Do List: Anchor the cabinets on either side of the stove, sand and paint the Island and all cabinets, take up the old flooring and install new, texture and paint walls, build Banquette, design and build Vent hood and last but for sure not least, install countertops! Then it is time for the finishing touches; decorating, installing display shelves, and finally storing all my kitchen items. The pantry is mostly finished, we will use any leftover cabinets for storage, we also plan on installing a Coffee Bar with a sink and open shelves.  When all the above is finished, I am going to have a party and celebrate! More than likely, we will cook up a nice dinner and toast with a couple of chilled La Croix’s! We are looking forward to having Thanksgiving here and being able to host a lot of family.
